Luhut is currently the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia. He was appointed as Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs from 27 July 2016 to 20 Oktober 2019, as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs from 12 August 2015 to 27 July 2015, and he was also appointed as the Presidential Chief of Staff by President Joko Widodo on 31 December 2014. Luhut also hold cabinet-rank office as Minister for Industry and Trade in the cabinet under the late President Abdurrahman Wahid. He was Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore in 2000.

Bambang Supriyanto is currently the Director General of Social Forestry and Environmental Partnership at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indonesia. Previously, he held a number of leadership positions in the Ministry including Head of Planning Bureau, Director of Research and Development for Social Economic Forest Policy and Climate Change Center, and Director of Utilization of Environmental Services of Conservation Forest.
In addition to his government post, Supriyanto is also National Coordinator for WWF Indonesia, and Indonesian Coordinator for Asian Raptor Research and Conservation Network (ARRCN). Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti is a senior advisor to the Minister of National Development Planning for Economy and Financing at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Republic of Indonesia. She started her career in the Ministry since 1999 at Directorate of Industry, Trade, and Tourism. She was assigned as a Deputy Director for Trade in 2006 and appointed as Director for Trade, Investment and International Economic Cooperation in November 2011 until July 2016. She was then assigned as a Director of Macroeconomic Planning and Statistics Analysis in July 2016 until February 2018, before being promoted to her current position.

She obtained her PhD degree in economics from the University of Melbourne Australia in 2005 with her thesis of Inflation Targeting Framework in Emerging Economies. Her strong interest is in macroeconomic issues, trade and economic development as well as economic modeling and analysis has encouraged her to put her strong intention on economic policy research for Indonesia.

His dissertation - Extended Intelligence: Awareness-Based Interventions into the Ecology of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems - explores the ethics and governance of Artificial Intelligence through the lens of cross-cultural complexity and the posthuman predicament of climate change.

Andre received an MA from Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan, and a BA from FU Berlin, Germany. He is alumnus of the ‘Studienstiftung’ German National Academic Foundation and the ‘MEXT’ fellowship program of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Satu Kahkonen is the World Bank Country Director for Indonesia and Timor-Leste, joining the position in February 2020 and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Ms. Kahkonen oversees the Bank’s program in the two countries and leads policy dialogue with government counterparts, civil society and other partners.

Prior to this position, she was the World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine. She had also served as Director of the Macroeconomics and Fiscal Management Global Practice at the World Bank Group, where she oversaw the work of the Practice in Europe and Central Asia, East Asia and Pacific, as well as South Asia. She was a Sector Manager in the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management unit. The cluster focused on economic policy management and covered 18 countries of the East and South East Europe—new EU Member States and Western Balkans—as well as select Eurozone countries.

Preceding that, she worked as a Lead Economist in South Asia, East and South East Europe, and Africa in the World Bank. In that role, she led a team which provided economic policy advice and technical expertise to multiple countries including Pakistan, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Uganda.

Before joining the World Bank, Ms. Kahkonen was part of the faculty of the University of Maryland and Associate Director of the Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector (IRIS), a think tank affiliated with the Department of Economics and headed by the late Professor Mancur Olson.

Ms. Kahkonen is the author of three books on economic development, and has published numerous economic reports and research papers. Ms. Kahkonen holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied as a Fulbright Scholar, and an M.Sc. from the Helsinki School of Economics.
