Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (Tsinghua SEA)
The Tsinghua SEA focuses on non-degree education (continuing education) for Southeast Asia. It also promotes people to people exchange between Indonesia, radiating to other Southeast Asian countries as well, and countries that join the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). At present, the Center is managed and operated by the School of Continuing Education, Tsinghua University. Its operation and facilities construction are aided by United in Diversity (UID), a public charity foundation based in Indonesia.
The Tsinghua SEA will focus on talent training and people to people exchange in Southeast Asia and around the world. It will serve the needs of Indonesia and Southeast Asian countries in terms of human capital training in Industry 4.0 and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative and UN SDGs.
“As a key link of Tsinghua University's global development strategy, the Tsinghua SEA will actively promote the talent training, academic exchanges and cooperation in Southeast Asia and around the world. We are dedicated to contributing to the realization of the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. And we are willing to join hands with worldwide partners to make greater contributions to the sustainable development of mankind.”
